To Drift Or Not to Drift - That is the question here. Just For Fun Champion Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. and American Iron Champion Chris Cobetto took to the track at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia to test their Mustang RTR's in a little Drift VS Grip experiment, this is purely for entertainment purposes in our opinion and we think Chris Cobetto's American Iron car could have easily overtaken Vaughn Gittin jr's car in many of the corners and gotten a good lead had the corners not been blocked by a sideways Mustang RTR! Enjoy and hope everyone has a good weekend !

2013 RTR Spec 1 Mustang Designed By Vaughn Gittin Jr. Video
Mustang RTR, the vision of World Champion Drifter and Mustang mad man, Vaughn Gittin Jr., is very excited to introduce the 2013 Mustang RTR Spec 1 and up to 624 horsepower Mustang RTR Spec 2. Like its previous versions, the 2013 Mustang RTR takes the best of multiple automotive cultures and tastefully meshes them with the incredible 2013 Ford Mustang in the form of a dealer-installed package that is currently available in select Ford dealerships around the world. For the 2013 Mustang, RTR is stepping up its game in both appearance and performance, guaranteeing that RTR owners will get everything they desire out of their machine. Vaughn is said to have worked with experienced chassis engineers to create 'one of the most impressive handling and fun-to-drive Mustangs out there'. There are two packages on offer, the Spec 1 - which adds the full styling kit, Ford Racing springs and performance exhaust - and then there's Spec 2. This adds adjustably dampers, uprated anti-roll bars, rear strut brace and the option of 525 or 624bhp supercharger systems. Spec 1 costs $6250 (£3984), and the Spec 2 is from $11,995 (£7646).

A Two Wheel Lap Around Laguna Seca Race Track In A Fox Body Mustang
We have raced our Brothers Performance race car at Laguna Seca in Monterey California a few times with NASA racing in American Iron and absolutely love the track with its elevation changes, great corners and straight a ways. After seeing this video we now have a new perspective, take a look at how James "Ski" Smith drives around the race track - No your eyes are not deceiving you he is attempting to take a hot lap around the track on two wheels - a never before attempted feat that was nearly accomplished but due to mechanical issues the attempt had to be put on hold for another race day! See James flip his Fox bodied Mustang up into a 2 wheeled SKI and tries to complete a lap, It takes a tremendous amount of skill to drive a car on two wheels for any length of time and to make it more difficult...Jamey has never been around the race course before the stunt. Watch the video to see what it's like from on-board perspective like no other on board view you have seen before as we drive along with him in an attempt to make one lap on two wheels in a 85 fox body Mustang. Shame he doesn't make it to the cork screw, that would have been interesting - ah I just went and spoiled it for you didn't I - well the video is fun to watch - enjoy.
