I think is safe to say we all wish we could own more than one Mustang especially some of the rare classics especially if we had the garage space for them. Mike Berardi is the Director of Service Engineering at Ford Motor and his love for Ford and anything Ford Mustang shows. For Mike his Mustang collection started in 1978 with a 2.3-liter Mustang II and as of today he now owns 43 Mustangs including three Indianapolis 500 pace cars, one of 500 1966 Shelby GT350H fastbacks, a 2012 Boss 302 and a 2013 Shelby GT500 and Mike does his best to drive all of them up to 300 miles a year around town and to work to keep them in tip top shape. This 69 Mustang Build Is The Real Thing
This 69 Mustang Build Is The Real Thing. Bodie Stroud industries specialize in building one-of-a kind hot rods and Bodie has devoted himself to creating a lifestyle, one that anyone could embrace. Old and young alike have joined forces with Bodie and the rest of the BS industries crew and devoted themselves to hotrodding with a “Devil may care” attitude.
The shop has been featured in numerous performance automotive magazines including Hotrod Magazine, Classic Truck, Hotrod Deluxe and even a full episode of the famed HOT ROD TV show.
Take a look at this short documentary film called "The Real Thing" about how Bodie re-imagined a classic 1969 Mustang fastback by way of an extremely rare and powerful all aluminum 494 motor built specifically for legendary racer Mario Andretti's 1969 Can Am series race car. This huge engine is actually one of only ten made and puts out a massive 777 horsepower. To get all that power to the ground safely, Bodie actually changed the Mustang from a unibody to a chassis style car so the body actually lifts off like a truck - it is really a very cool build and great short video that is very well shot and edited.
The short film follows the complex and creative build from its early stages, through its initial test drive all the way to an unveiling in the Magnaflow booth at the 2013 SEMA Car Show in Las Vegas where Bodie comes face to face with Mario Andretti himself. This entry was posted in Great Videos You MUST See! and tagged custom Mustang build, Bodie Stroud, 69 Mustang, Magnaflow, Mario Andretti, Ford Mustang on March 10, 2014 by Brothers Performance.

This Guy Needs A Wheelie Bar On His Mustang

We think this guy needs a wheelie bar on his Mustang, take a look at this drag race video shot this last weekend at the Georgia Motorsports Park - GA during qualifying for an Outlaw drag radial class. The cars owner and driver David Measell takes a wild ride and actually takes flight in his fox body Mustang as it runs about 100 feet down the track on the back bumper almost flying over the wall! After the race in an interview Dave said his team had just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower with a little spray in his 706! Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. This was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began. Unfortunately Wheelie bars are not allowed in this class so he needs to work on the aero! This entry was posted in Great Videos You MUST See! and tagged drag race mustang, wheelie, outlaw drag radial on February 26, 2014 by Brothers Performance.
