The Ford Mustang celebrated it's 51st birthday 2 weeks ago and to celebrate Ford released part 1 of a video series showing the creative design and the processes that have gone into building the 2015 Ford Mustang.
See the handiwork of Chief Designer of Global Interiors at Ford Motor Company, Doyle Letson and his team, show you how the Mustang S550 interior is inspired by aerospace design.
Here In the second part of Ford's video series you can go behind-the-scenes and watch as the team of Ford engineers come together to work on the interior design of the new 2015 Mustang.
Next week, Ford will release Chapter 3, which will focus on the engineering of the car - we are already looking forward to that !
The Steeda Q 2015 Ford Mustang is putting out around 775 horsepower and it looks like it mean business. We wrote about the launch of the new 2015 Saleen Black Label 302 Mustang recently, well looks like it has some serious competition now with this Valdosta Stallion.
As with the new 2015 Saleen S302 Mustang, Steeda is offering three flavors of its Q-Series Mustang models: One with a slightly tuned naturally aspirated 480-hp version of the Coyote V-8 and two with power packages that presumably employ superchargers that will pump up output to 650 or a whopping 775 horsepower.
In any case, the 775-hp version handily outguns the Saleen S302 Black Label which is said to produces 730 hp
Realizing that power means nothing without stability and control, we’ve incorporated our proprietary precision-engineered Steeda G/Trac suspension and chassis modifications to keep the driver in command and deliver a level of performance that makes for an unbeatable combination on the street, racetrack, or dragstrip – all without sacrificing noise, vibration, or harshness.
On the exterior, we have elevated the Mustang to new heights by incorporating over 20 key component upgrades that form an integrated and cohesive performance package including:
A new wind tunnel-tested aerodynamically enhanced front fascia with an integrated lower chin splitter
Rear enhanced decklid spoiler
Powertrain induction and tuning upgrades
Performance-free flowing exhaust system
Substantial key front and rear suspension enhancements/upgrades
and much more…
The fitment of lightweight staggered 20” wheels and Nitto High Performance tires round out the package and not only add an aggressive look, but they also reduce un-sprung weight, further enhancing performance and providing far superior levels of car-to-road adhesion.
This Steeda Q will offer a free-flowing exhaust system, suspension upgrades that drop it down on its 20-inch wheels, and a full array of body modifications, including a new front fascia, lower splitter, deck lid spoiler, and hood. Pricing, availability, and more powertrain specifics aren’t yet available, but we’ll bring you more information on the Steeda Stangs as soon as they are.
Oh - Did we mention that all 2015 Steeda Q-Series Mustangs are covered by a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty!
We all love our Mustangs in the USA and have done since the famed pony car went on sale back in 1965.
Another fact is that this year the 2015 Ford Mustang is going to be sold globaly and there seems to be a big interest especially in England where American Muscle cars have become very popular with performance gear heads.
Meet farmer, Ted Kinsella who owns a farm near London, Ted has dreamt of owning a Mustang in the UK ever since he was a kid and he has just planted 35,000 shrubs in one of his fields to create a 60 metre wide "galloping pony" to celebrate Ford Europe's decision to import the new S550 Ford Mustang.
One thing Ted knows for sure is the Ford Mustang is coming to Europe for the first time later this year, his red Mustang 5.0 GT is on order and his dream will finally be coming true. If you are in the market for a 5.0-litre V8 convertible with a thoroughbred pedigree, or even a Fastback 2.3-litre EcoBoost get ready to hold on tight because they are selling fast!
The galloping stallion he has created with these shrubs should be visible for around 6 months, and with his field being situated nearby to Stansted Airport, thousands of passengers see it every day when taking off and landing.

FYI - A "Nipper" is slang for "a young child" - "A Pucker Motor" "pucker" Slang word used in the uk meaning great or good. often used by the chef jamie oliver.
this potatoes will be pucker ??? dont ask to explain - thats another blog story
Update: Seems Like we were a little too late to the party on this one and in fact it was a April Fools Joke - Ford Europe made up to promote the car in europe - should have guessed by the Farmers accent, strange words and the plant called the Polar Foil, which is just an anagram of April Fool. Any way they got us April Fools!
Have you ever wondered what it takes to get the perfect sound from your exhaust system? I mean a sound that’s dialed into your liking. Different engines create different levels of exhaust flow, so it’s important to get exhaust parts that fit your needs. There is so much that can affect the music coming from your tail pipes — and we’re not just talking about the volume of your exhaust. Power adders, increased compression, big cams, headers, X- and H-pipes, mufflers and tail pipes all play a role in the symphony of sound. But only one muffler puts the sound tuning in your hands — and that’s BBK’s Varitune Muffler. Varitune mufflers and Axle-Back kits feature the patented Adjustable Power Valve that gives you the ability to tune your exhaust! So read on and see how BBK Varitune Mufflers make the perfect sound.
The Adjustable Power Valve, developed and patented by BBK Performance, lets you change from having a mild three-chamber muffler to a rowdy single-chamber muffler in a matter of minutes. These mufflers are built with an internal cone that is adjusted in or out to direct exhaust flow through the muffler. And since you control the position of the cone, you manipulate sound and power.
It’s all done with the turn of a screw, located on the exterior of the muffler. Changes are made by simply loosening the locking nut and then running the adjuster in or out. With this set-up you can quickly and easily dial in the sound of your exhaust with the turn of a screw and we offer kits for the Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, plus trucks and a variety of other vehicles. You can even alter or off-set the Power Valves to remove any resonance or drone. This is important when you change rear gears or transmission ratios.
BBK Varitune Mufflers are available in a variety of sizes so there’s a combination for virtually any American performance car, including Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, Chevrolet Camaro, and Corvette to name a few. Of course, you can retro-fit your Varitune mufflers to basically any vehicle, including early muscle cars. It’s important to note that all BBK Varitune mufflers and Varitune Axle-Back kits are American designed and American built from high-quality materials so they’re designed to sound great and last a long time.
To fit your budget, Varitune mufflers are available in aluminized or stainless steel in 2.5-, 2.75-, and 3.0-inch diameters, and are offered in various offsets to fit most aftermarket and OEM applications, including cars and trucks. Currently, Varitune mufflers do not fit the 1999-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra, and with many options for fitment, be sure to research and select the correct diameter and offset for your specific application.
