Brothers Performance has had multiple Dynojet chassis dyno’s over the years and we have dyno tested thousands of cars at various events over the years. When we first saw this video this morning our first impression was that the car did not look very well secured and second impression was the dyno looked a bit flimsy to dyno such a powerful Mustang. Well at first glance everything looks to be going well at the Expo Performance 24 in Sherbrooke, Québec, Canada, but when dyno tester started to put the hammer down, the big Mustang got all revved up and the chassis dyno went boom, rollers, parts and sparks provided a great spectacle of destruction. It looks like the dyno wasn't the only thing hurt, as the Ford Mustang Shelby looks like it may have some suspension issues, and possibly some transmission issues.
Looks like an expensive day for the owner of the dyno and the Shelby GT500, if you dyno your car at a show or event most times you release liability and cannot hold the operators of these portable dynos responsible for damages, so you will be out of pocket if your car is damaged. Be sure to only test on big HP dynos like Dynojet or Mustang chassis dyno meters. Like if you have dyno tested your car with no issues. Or tell us what happened.

2008 Mustang GT Gets Ex Mark Martin Nascar Race Engine Installed
It happens to most of us, once you buy a performance car; you just want to get more power and even more performance out of your new ride. Well take a look at what happened to Marc Sorger after he bought his brand new Mustang GT in 2008 as his everyday street car. Like many enthusiasts he quickly started modifying his Mustang and before long it was supercharged with a blown 4.6-liter V-8 engine pushing out 724 horsepower at the wheels. It didn't take long for him to want to take his new baby to NASA HPDE track days but he quickly learned after about five laps or so that the engine would start to overheat loose power and start to get dangerously close to leaning out. It wasn't getting enough cool air to breathe properly with all that power producing so much heat.
So what do you do when you want to go all out racing with NASA American Iron? Forget fixing your engine and supercharger cooling issue, you just dump the engine and drop in an ex Mark Martin 358 cubic inch V-8 NASCAR Cup Car engine under the hood.
But you can't just drop a NASCAR race car engine in a Mustang and bolt up the stock powertrain. So Marc installed a TEX Racing T101A four-speed clutch less transmission and drive shaft from Martin's race car. The intake, cam, and carburetor have all been switched to make the car more road course friendly.
Whiteline Flatout provided their full suspension package, including the watts link and anti-dive kit while Marc switched out the rear axles and gears with a much needed racing differential, rear axles, and high ratio ring and pinion gears. Man Wins A Mustang Just For Going To Work Every Day
How many of you would like to win a Ford Mustang just for going to work every day?
Well an Ohio man is now the proud owner of a brand new 2013 Ford Mustang thanks to his perfect attendance at work for the year. Michael Thompson, an employee of Owens and Minor in Hebron, OH, claimed his prize, a base 2013 Mustang V6, after being randomly selected among five coworkers who hadn’t missed a single day of work for an entire year. The giveaway has been a company tradition since 2005, with an hourly worker with perfect attendance from each region taking home a new vehicle. Sweetening the deal and as an added bonus, Owens and Minor also pays all of the taxes and fees associated with the car! After taking delivery of the Mustang Thompson said he was “very excited,” and that he could not wait to drive it. The new 2013 Ford Mustang V6 is an impressive car with a base 3.7Liter V6 double over head camshaft engine that pushes out 305 horsepower at 3500 rpm and 280 ft/lbs of torque at 4250 rpm – quite impressive numbers considering that 10 years ago the V6 Mustang put out 190 horsepower and 220 ft/lbs of torque.
We bet that he will start modifying the car very soon with all the great performance parts that are available for it. On the performance side we think he should start off with an AirAid Cold air intake kit and a BBK 73mm power plus performance throttle body to add some good horsepower, along with a Magnaflow axleback back exhaust system to make it sound great and a few more ponies. Then on the outside install a set of Eibach lowering springs to get it to handle and look better and install a set of Ford Racing Boss 302 wheels to give it an awesome look. This is just for starters there are a ton of great modifications that can be done to any Ford Mustang V6 or GT - Long Tube Exhaust Headers, X Pipes and so much more and we have all the parts to make your car look great – What would you modify first?
