Well if these really are the first spy shots of the upcoming all new 2015 Ford Mustang then they are the first of the real 2015 Ford Mustang car underneath all that camouflage and not a S197 05-14 Mustang mule that Ford have been driving around for many months that many of you may have already seen in magazines and forums. Ford still refuses to publicly acknowledge the existence of an actual 2015 Ford Mustang but with that model year fast approaching we are expecting to see first run 2015 Ford Mustang prototype at the some of the world’s biggest auto shows by the end of 2013. While Ford’s staying tight-lipped about the new Mustang, we’ve have heard that good Intel has informed us that finally the Mustang gets an independent rear end. Under the hood, the base Mustang will carry on with V6 power plant. The step-up engine from there is the 2.3-liter Ecoboost four-cylinder. Expect the four-banger to deal something in the vicinity of 350 horsepower. We hope Ford calls it SVO, for old times ' sake, that would be cool.

The GT will retain the stout 5.0L Coyote V8, only it should put out around the same power as the Boss 302 somewhere around 450 horses. Finally it would appear that the Shelby badge and even that supercharger may be going away and replaced with a familiar SVT name possibly Cobra that will produce big naturally aspirated horsepower.
