After the big reveal in Hollywood at the Manns Chineses theatre the 2015 Ford Mustang GT was taken down to Venice beach for fans to take another look outside of the cramped space at the Chinese theatre. Following the Venice beach reveal fans were also treated to a suprise visit that following saturday morning to a Cars and Coffee event in Irvine southern California.
This was a special event for fans because the new pony car was revealed in full less than a week ago and Mustang and muscle car fans were already getting a chance to see the car up close and personal for the first time. The 2015 red Mustang GT was fired up and bystanders were given the oportunity to hear the throaty V8 5.0-liter engine being started up and being given a chance to clear its throat. According to the ford website the new 5.0 motor is good enough for more than 420 bhp (313 kW) and a peak torque of 528 Nm (390 lb-ft). We think this new Mustang is Hot and sounds great - we are anxiously awaiting the automotive media's test drive conclusions and look forward to this car being on the streets in the fall of 2014.
