The stock tube-and-fin intercooler on your EcoBoost Mustang is inefficient and allows heat soak very easily. Mishimoto developed this highly efficient bar-and plate intercooler to keep your air intake temperatures consistently low, run after run. This intercooler is a direct-fit unit requires no modification to your Mustang. Turbocharged engines produce extremely hot charge inlet air temperatures, so upgrading the intercooler is often one of the first modifications enthusiasts make. This allows them a great baseline on which to build more power safely.

Fits Like OEM
The Engineers at Mishimoto designed this intercooler to fit with all factory components, including the stock active grille shutters. Airflow blockage to the radiator and AC condenser is reduced by mounting it in the stock location. This cooler is constructed with cast end tanks that are CFD tested for maximum airflow and includes an in-tank air diverter on the hot side to provide optimal flow through the intercooler. This intercooler reduces intake temperatures by 35°F with minimal pressure loss, has a 25% increase in core volume and 165% increase in external fin surface area, providing maximum cooling for your Mustang.
