Big Horsepower and Torque Gains
Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) has long been one of the most recognized names in nitrous oxide kits. Racers know that a nitrous kit is an easy and affordable way to add big power to your engine. Many don't know that you can also safely use nitrous to boost the power of your diesel truck. In just a couple of hours you can increase your truck's output by as much as 130 rear wheel horsepower with the kit as delivered. If you're planning to exceed the 70 horsepower level, a tuner is recommended to add additional fuel.

Complete Kit
This NOS diesel nitrous kit is a complete entry-level kit, including everything you need to get started. You can just bolt it on, wire it up, fill the bottle and you're good to go. Avid racers may opt for a purge kit (optional) for hard-hitting launches at the track.

Easy Installation
NOS diesel nitrous kits can typically be installed in a couple of hours and only requires basic tools. Wiring the solenoid and activation switch is very simple using the detailed instructions included in the kit.

Tuning Notes
NOS strongly suggests that an upper limit of about 40% to 50% increase in power output from your stock engine. Exceeding this can result in premature engine failure. On manual transmission trucks, if the vehicle is to be exposed to severe operating conditions such as drag strip usage, the standard clutch should be replaced with a high performance unit. Supplied with the kit is an aluminum blow-down tube (a –8 neoprene-line braided hose can be substituted). The blow-down tube should be routed to the exterior of the vehicle (preferably under the vehicle). This procedure will prevent filling the drivers compartment with a cloud of nitrous oxide, if the safety pressure relief cap should happen to rupture for any reason. If the bottle is mounted in the bed of the truck this tube is not required. The blue safety cap should ALWAYS be installed if the blow down tube is not used.
