Cam Swaps and Idle Adjustment

One of the most popular upgrades for the 5.0 Mustang enthusiasts is the cam swap. It is a must for squeezing every bit of that hidden power that the 5.0 can produce.
One of the most common complaints that we hear after the swap is done is that the idle does not want to stabilize along with stalling. The poor idle and stalling can be cured by a simple addition of an idle adjustment plate. This plate is installed between the idle air control valve and the throttle body.
This is a very simple installation and it comes with instructions and all the hardware and gaskets that make it a hassle free addition to your cam swap. The Idle adjustment plate is a must when upgrading the cam and it is also a very effective tool when used with supercharging.
