The Owners of 3D Carbon, Ernie Bunnell and Billy Longfellow founded Wings West in 1992 and in 1999, an outside automotive investment firm acquired the company. Wings West continued to operate under the management of Bunnell and Longfellow for five more years.

In 2004, they broke away from the company they founded and launched their new enterprise, 3D Carbon body kits with their longtime friend and former employer, Joseph Moran. After dominating the sports compact market, Bunnell and Longfellow sought to expand their horizons to the new domestic muscle car market. So when the new Mustang body design came, it was a clean slate for 3D Carbon to work with. The first result of this was the 2005 Mustang Boy Racer body Kit and accessories.

It was a leap not only of business, but of artistic media as well, from the comfort of the booming sport compact market they knew so well, to the new challenges of stylizing domestic muscle cars like the new 2005-2009 Ford Mustangs and Dodge Chargers you see here on our Brothers Performance website. After winning several coveted SEMA Best of Show Ford Design awards, 3DCarbon body kits have successfully made the transition and continue to expand their styling product line. 3D Carbon manufacture the boy racer rear wing and Boy racer body kit as well as side scoops, door scoops, hood scoops and Rear black out panels, Eleanor front grilles, billet grilles, front chin spoilers,rear duck tail spoilers complete the line along with a selection of other great looking accessories. 3D Carbon manufacture body kits and accessories from high pressure injected flexible urethane which requires some degree of paint preparation for the following vehicles:
