About Underdrive Pulleys
One of the cheapest and least inexpensive ways to get horsepower is to bolt on a set of underdrive pulley kits to your cars engine. Replacing the OEM underdrive pulley with an aftermarket underdrive pulley kit frees up horsepower by slowing down the front accessories. This requires less horsepower to turn a underdrive pulley so more horse power is sent to the rear wheels – typically you can pick up approx 8-10 horsepower at the wheels. Stock serpentine belts still work, so no need to buy a new one. These performance underdrive pulley systems offer a full charge from the alternator and do not change any other characteristic about your engine other than increase performance. Brothers Performance offers underdrive pulley kits from the top brand manufacturers for all year car including March Performance, BBK Performance, Steeda, Auto Specialties and Ford Racing Performance. |
